Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Confirmed

By Jake PassotSquare Enix has yet to confirm, but Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been confirmed via the latest cover of Game Informer

Mankind Divided is set to take place two years after Human Revolution. It will focus on humanity’s fear of augmented people after the conclusion of the previous game. No official release date has been confirmed but its likely this will release for PS4, XBox One, and PC.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, developed by Eidos Montreal, which will likely come to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC,  stars returning hero Adam Jensen fighting across the globe, including Czech Republic.

How Mankind Divided ties into Human Revolution is yet to be seen as actions from Human Revolution will not, carry over. Eidos is stating that none of Human Revolution’s four endings will be considered canonical. Screenshots suggest that Mankind Divided is once again a first-person action game featuring third-person cover, as well as cybernetic augmentation, giving Jensen the ability to deflect bullets, see through smoke with x-ray vision, and hack computers remotely.

We’ll keep you posted as we learn more, but expect to see more this year at E3.

  1. I really wanted to like the last iteration, but just couldn’t quite get into it. My loss I guess, but this may sway me. May.

I hated the Twitch channel they did for this, but I’m still excited for the game! #NerdSwag is a great blog and definitely worth checking out.
