Netflix announced the debut date for the first of their new Marvel TV series, Daredevil, and it’s earlier than expected. Originally slated to release in May, the entire 13 episode season will be released on Friday, April 10th to all Netflix subscribers.
Charlie Cox (Boardwalk Empire) stars in the series as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, joined by Rosario Dawson (Sin City, Clerks 2), and Vincent D’Onofrio (Full Metal Jacket). Steven S. DeKnight (Spartacus), Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and Drew Goddard (Cabin In The Woods) are the executive producers, with DeKnight serving as showrunner.
The show is shaping up to be an exciting, dark, and gritty series that should hopefully make up for the failed Daredevil movie in the early 2000’s. Official Netflix synopsis below.
