Independent film direct, Yohan Faure, has released some pretty kick ass looking trailers for Dragon Ball Z: The Fall of Man. This film, which was crowd funded via Indiegogo, has been in production for over a year, and looks infinitely better than the 2009 live action flop that I refuse to name.
With this fan made film, the director is breaking away from Dragon Ball canon in an attempt to make a darker and more dramatic Dragon Ball movie. From the test footage and teaser trailer below, he’s totally on the right track. Check out the movie synopsis and some pretty cool footage, and swing by their official Facebook page to show them some support http://www.facebook.com/thefallofmen. The movie is set to be released later this year.
“The world is not like it is supposed to be, something happened in the course of time.”
With these words Trunks wakes up in the middle of a ruined city. He then remembers the loss of his friends, his preparation to fight Cell, even though he knows he might not be strong enough, he will still try to make a difference.
“The Fall of Men” is born from our desire to tell the DRAGON BALL Z story in a more realistic and dramatic way. Set in a different future than the canon, this untold story focuses on the son of VEGETA who tries to save the Earth against the infamous CELL.
